AB  - The application of a digital graphic data base in town and country planning // Contemporary level of development and indicated directions of the development of informational technology are contributing to the establishing of an integrated approach to physical planning. However, the methodological approach to designation of physical / spatial plan imposes a specific requirements to informational technology, while the development of informational technology is evolving towards a varied modes of application, the intention is to bring closer and to adopt this domains through the gradual standardisation of the modes of presenting the information on space territory and through compatibility of terminology of planning and computerised approaches and tectonics. The papers deals with the possibilities of achieving that, and the basis for it is the digital graphic's data base with an integrated graphic, textual and numeric data into an unified relational system, The starting point is well founded, organised and integrated overall informational basis of physical / spatial plan, what presents the best support for an integrated approach to planning, organisation, the modes of uses and protection of the territory / space.

AB  - The paper indicates the problems and trends in  the industrial development and territorial distribution of the industry in Serbia. There are analyses of the possibilities for industrial development, based on fundamental goals, conditions and restrictions. The paper presents the possible scenarios of the industrial development in Serbia, which may have various influences to the territorial organization and industrial needs of a location. There guidance elements are considered for a new industrial plants allocation (locational factor, locational resources of territory, criteria for choosing for the new factories), concepts and models for the industrial distribution. As the conclusion, particular role of industrial, innovation, regional and environmental policy in the industrial development and its allocation is pointed out.

AB  - Integration of activities of collection, selection, systematisation and up-dating of information relevant to all elements of the overall environment is prerequisite for the formation of information system and for the organisation of all social structures in a task of protection and upgrading of the environment.
 The basic assumptions on which this research is based is related to a search for an a adequate method which would enable one to segregate the problem into several levels to one at which it is possible to conduct the exact measurements and to compare the results, in order to promote an appropriate solution. The following segments are included: the state of ecological factors, the causes that influence the change of those factors, permitted level of environmental congestion, ecological criteria, the system modelling and the measures for protection. These segments indicate the scale of problems, but in the same time they are the bases for the synthesis, whereby through the elaboration of each element one reaches the answer to a question: which changes did occur and where; who caused them, what is the intensity and duration of impact; how can these changes be controlled and what is the scale of effectiveness of undertaken measures in relation to the prevention of ecological degradation?
